Body type• Oriental Overall looks • Argusfoot is a very lithe, sleek she-cat who seems to be a little larger than others. While her lankiness used to cause many clumsy moments as a kit, she has grown into her figure and now moves quite gracefully. Her longer fur somewhat takes away from her thin frame, but most would more-so notice her dark chocolate smoke coat, and her piercing, shining eyes. While she does have the body type of an Oriental, her head shape is not as exaggerated, and her muzzle is a bit more sharp. She is quieter than most, and usually has a dark expression on her face. While her peers know her to be an extremely loyal and selfless cat(only in regards to those in her clan), some clanmates avoid her, not knowing what her true intentions or feelings may be towards them. Argustfoot, for the most part, is an unknown story, no one ever truly knowing what lies within. However, Argusfoot knows her own story all too well. The seemingly uninterested she-cat is, in actuality, very sensitive and self conscious. She has learned how to hide her anxiousness well, but doesn't quite realize that in doing so, her true personality is instead shielded by a stone-like exterior. Due to her perceptions of herself, she has a hard time connecting with others, as she feels she is only bothering or wasting others' time. The she-cat is always overthinking her actions, perceiving her assumptions about how others think of her as reality. Her emotions and doubts are only ever kept to herself, though at times it can cause her great stress and despair. Argusfoot doesn't know if she will ever truly connect with someone and share how she feels without fear of denial, but everyday she wishes for it, hoping she will also one day see her self in another light. Her brother, Chanterellepelt, was born first, and she came along only minutes later. As a kit, she was still very quiet, but much more open with other cats. While still anxious in most regards, she didn’t at the time have a concept of herself as she would in her adult life. She was close with her brother, but had a difficult relationship with her mother. Linnetwhisker was a very young mother, and even with the direction of the nurses, she had a hard time connecting with her kits. Her father didn’t have as much of a relationship with her as she had with her mother, as he was more of an Uncle to her than a father. Her parents had agreed as young warriors to have kits together, as the rules of Moorclan stated any she-cat able must have at least one litter, so the only suitable father Linnetwhisker could think of was her closest friend. However, Argusfoot’s days as a kit were still full of fun and enjoyment, aside from the minor family drama. The she-cat’s apprenticeship would prove differently. Once made an apprentice, Argusfoot was proud to be on her way to assisting her clan and making new bonds. She got along with her mentor, but it was never a very close bond, but she still to this day looks up to them for teaching her most of what she knows. However, her apprenticeship was when she began to build her harder exterior and look at herself in a more negative light. Though showing potential as a hunter, Argusfoot struggled during her apprenticeship to keep up with the other apprentices in regards to fighting techniques. She would be picked on by the others for her kit-like fighting techniques, and was ignored by them as well in regards to social interactions. While their intent was never hateful, Argusfoot’s anxiety and self doubt in her abilities created a deep feeling of distance between herself and her peers. It also affected her greatly when her brother began to distance himself from her as well, not wanting to only be known as the weak apprentice’s brother. Her self esteem and perception of how others felt of her dropped to an all time low when her mother explained that she hadn’t originally wanted to keep her brother and herself, but had meant to give them to one of the other she-cats. After these events, she slowly became even more emotionally isolated from others, and closed away her sometimes cheery attitude. Now, as a warrior, Argusfoot is well known for her speed more so than for her fighting techniques. She has mastered concealing her thoughts and does everything in her power to show her worth to her clanmates. She still does not speak with her brother much, even though he wishes to start over, as he knows how his actions affected his sister. Argusfoot speaks with her mother, but avoids her as much as possible. The lithe she-cat is proud of her position in the clan, but still feels the loneliness gnawing at her every day, and many times ponders at her worth in existing at all.
